Tigh-na-Ròs is situated at the edge of the village of Glenelg, 9 miles south-west of the A87 from Invermoriston to Kyle of Lochalsh.
Glenelg is 2 hours easy drive from Inverness Airport and about 4.5 hours from Glasgow International Airport. Reasonably-priced car hire is available at both airports.
The nearest railway station is at Kyle of Lochalsh (25 miles) which is reached from Inverness.
There are regular bus services from Inverness and Fort William to Shiel Bridge, whence a taxi can be arranged.
Tigh-na-Ros (the Gaelic for Rose Cottage) is a comfortable, well-appointed detached holiday house in a peaceful setting at the edge of the village, five minutes walk from the sea. After a long day sight-seeing or walking the hills you can relax in the spacious sitting-room or the conservatory, or enjoy a barbecue in the garden. Glenelg has a well-stocked village shop and post office, and a good pub offering restaurant and bar meals. The last turn-table car ferry in Europe runs a regular summer service from Glenelg to the Isle of Skye, the original 'Road to the Isles'.
