Accommodation
Rosalind Rawnsley and John Hammersley, your hosts at Tigh-na-Ròs, offer you a warm welcome in their cosy, well-appointed and comfortable home in a peaceful setting at the edge of the village.  After a long day sight-seeing or walking the hills you can relax and unwind in front of a log fire in the spacious sitting-room, followed by a five-course dinner in the French style, served with wine from our own region of Touraine in France.
Ici, on parle le français...

Tigh-na-Ros is sometimes available to rent on a self-catering basis, from £400 per week, depending on the season.  For details contact: rosalind.rawnsley@gmail.com

The two bedrooms each have an individual character.  From Sea Room, with en-suite shower room with wash-hand basin and w.c., decorated with original watercolours of boats and the sea, you can often be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves pounding the shore a few hundred metres distant.
Room with a View compensates for the use of a shared bathroom with a beautiful view up the glen towards the Five Sisters of Kintail.  Both bedrooms have twin sprung 3-foot divans, with duvets, soft pillows and French bolsters, hospitality tray, and fresh flowers in season.

Breakfast
In the morning a traditional, generous Scottish or continental breakfast (including home-made bread and jams) awaits you in the Conservatory, overlooking the garden and with a view to the north-east up Glen Mhor. We usually have Skye kippers available, and genuine organic Scottish oatmeal porridge.  The house speciality is mouth-watering scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.  We use fresh local and/or organic produce whenever possible.  For this reason advance booking for dinner is essential.

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast for 2009 is £50 per person.
(Bed and Breakfast alone available at £25 per person, a simpler 3-course menu at £15 is also available.  Advance booking....
